Providence Mover Reviews, Reviewed by Denise F. on 06/29/2009 . I recently had occasion to transfer furniture from my home in Cumberland, RI to the apartment of my son in Orlando, FL. When I first made inquiries of your Rhode Island agent, Sterling Moving Service, their representative, Patrick Morgan, made a very clear and concise presentation of the services and charges involved in the move. When we decided to choose Sterling/North American as the mover, Sterling´s coordinator, Moureen, helped us every step of the way. She was always available to answer our questions and concerns. We instituted a moving plan for June; however, without missing a beat, Maureen quickly substituted another moving program when we had the opportunity to make the move in May. Her flexibility and adaptability were impressive. When the move was actually implemented, your movers were courteous and efficient. I have never seen the representatives of a moving company take such care with the customer´s furniture. Our impression in Rhode Island was duplicated in Florida by our daughter-in-law on the receiving end. She also reported that your employees were pleasant and efficient and careful and attentive to her requests. We expect to make a move ourselves at a future time, and would certainly employ Sterling/North American to implement that objective. Rating: 5

I want to express my appreciation for the fine work and professionalism shown by your moving crew of Barry, Justin, and Lucas at our house on June 10 and 11. I couldn´t be present for the packout and it was my wife´s first move with a moving company, but she was thrilled by how careful, neat, and organized your team was. We have moved a great deal in our 42 years of marriage and encountered some that were good and some that were absolutely disastrous. We both agree that this move was the best we ever encountered. As you may know, our first planned move to Phoenix, Arizona was canceled at the last minute due to problems with the closing of the sale of our condo. Maureen Francisco was very sympathetic and helpful in arranging the cancellation. She then arranged for our move to Sterling, Virginia with only about a weeks notice. We even got the dates we wanted. The van driver, Lloyd Mitchell, was a true professional. He was able to back his van into a very tight space with absolute precision. He wrapped all of the furniture to protect it before it left our home, including our very expensive brass bed. His help were courteous and helpful too, especially James Beasley. James traveled with Lloyd to our destination. Our belongings arrived on the date promised and Lloyd and James again helped us get organized. They placed everything where we asked and made every attempt to help in any way they could. We are not sure if we will have an occasion to use Sterling Van Lines again but if so we will not hesitate. If we do use Sterling again we will definitely request Lloyd to handle our move. Rating: 5

Providence Mover Reviews, Reviewed by Michael H. on 03/05/2009 . My family recently moved to Rhode Island from Florida and had our furniture shipped by North American Van Lines,arriving last Tuesday. The driver came from Florida but the three crewmen are local from your facility. Their names were Ishmael, John and Jimmy. I would like you to know they were excellent. We have had bad experiences with movers in the past but these guys were very professional, courteous and treated our things as they were their own. Despite having to unload an entire truck full of furniture, some of which was extremely bulky and/or heavy, they did not break a thing and did not leave so much as a scuff mark on the walls. As I said, they were excellent and I highly commend your organization for hiring and training such wonderful employees. Rating: 5
